Marist for Life has a three-fold purpose: Prayer, education and outreach. For the month of March, here are some ways we as a club will be praying, learning/teaching and reaching out to the community. We invite the entire Marist community to join us as we strive to uphold the dignity of human life.
Prayer
Prayer is of utmost importance in the pro-life movement. Some of our meetings begin wiht Mass, all begin with prayer and we encourage everyone to pray the Rosary for greater respect for life.
Education
We are spending some time each meeting learning more about the ethical implications of abortion, physician assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Marist for Life officers share a pro-life presentation each Spring tp the Christian Ethics classes as well as Saint Paul middle school students.
Outreach
We are often participating in activities sponsored by Eugene Right to Life or the Knights of Columbus. TBA as the opportunities arise
